IA Group currently operates across Europe, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. **Job Description** At this moment, we are looking for an Claims Investigator \& Recovery Associate to join our Brazilian team in São Paulo. This is an on\-site position. The role is particularly suited for a professional with a strong commercial, financial and negotiation\-oriented mindset, capable of combining claim investigation and credit recovery with the analysis of financial information and complex restructuring scenarios. **You will be responsible for:** · Investigating credit insurance claims and assessing the underlying commercial, contractual and financial circumstances; · Managing credit recovery cases and negotiating outstanding claims with Brazilian debtors; · Conducting negotiations involving significant exposures, payment plans, settlements and debt restructuring arrangements; · Reviewing financial information, payment capacity, cash\-flow considerations and other relevant indicators to support recovery strategies; · Analyzing restructuring proposals and identifying potential risks and recovery scenarios; · Participating in negotiations with debtors, financial advisers, lawyers and other stakeholders; · Advising international clients on recovery strategies and developments concerning Brazilian debtors; · Preparing clear and analytical reports in English regarding investigations, negotiations and recovery strategies; **Requirements** · Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field; · Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience; · Professional experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: credit recovery, financial restructuring, corporate finance, banking, credit analysis, distressed assets, insurance claims or complex commercial negotiations; · Strong negotiation skills, particularly in complex or high\-value commercial matters; · Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand financial information and evaluate payment and restructuring scenarios; · Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken; · Strong written communication and report\-writing skills; · Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast\-paced international environment; · Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail and ability to work independently; · Availability to attend meetings and travel when required.
