Lead Product Designer

Transcenda

At Transcenda, we partner with companies to build products and the teams behind them. We’re looking for Lead Product Designers to join a US\-based enterprise SaaS client, combining hands\-on design with ownership of complex problems and close stakeholder collaboration. We have openings across three areas: **AI experiences and trust** , helping users understand, verify, and control AI\-powered features; **design systems and AI interfaces** , defining shared conversational patterns and driving adoption across teams; and **financial reporting** , simplifying complex workflows and evolving them toward conversational interfaces and autonomous agents. We’ll explore your experience throughout the interview process to identify the best fit—you don’t need expertise in all three areas. **Must have** * Experience owning complex product design work, with examples of setting direction, aligning stakeholders, and influencing decisions beyond individual screens. * A portfolio with substantive product design cases showing the problem, your individual contribution, key decisions and trade\-offs, and outcomes or learnings. * Strong visual and interaction craft demonstrated through detailed interfaces, workflows, and prototypes—not only descriptions of your process. * Evidence of how research, user feedback, or other relevant insights informed design decisions and iterations. * Systems thinking, autonomy, and the ability to turn ambiguous requirements into coherent product experiences. * Clear communication and demonstrated collaboration with product, engineering, and design stakeholders. * Portfolio evidence relevant to at least one opening: **B2B/enterprise AI or agentic UX** , with data literacy; **design systems and AI/conversational UI** , showing shared patterns beyond components and cross\-team adoption; or **complex workflow products** , such as fintech, ERP, or reporting platforms. **Nice to have** * Finance domain knowledge for the financial reporting opening. * Experience spanning more than one of the focus areas above. **Key Responsibilities:** * Own design work from problem framing through detailed interfaces and prototypes. * Turn complex requirements into clear workflows and polished user experiences. * Partner with product, engineering, and design stakeholders to explore solutions and resolve trade\-offs. * Use prototypes and relevant evidence to communicate ideas, gather feedback, and refine the experience. * Maintain consistency across related features, workflows, and interaction patterns. * For the design systems opening, benchmark industry approaches, define reusable patterns, and drive adoption across product teams.
