This is a role for a servant leader who brings strong facilitation skills, a genuine curiosity for learning, and the ability to influence and motivate without formal authority in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment.**Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do** ------------------------------------------------------ * Guide teams in low\-complexity environments to understand and follow basic agile principles, techniques, and software methodologies; teach software methodology concepts and apply practices in a context\-sensitive and audience\-appropriate manner. * Plan and facilitate meetings for the purpose of decision making, idea generation, planning, continuous improvement, problem solving, and alignment; lead continuous learning events and actively support team development and growth. * Guide teams in self\-organization, collaborating around goals and objectives, and optimizing the flow of value; collaborate with and support other team\-level leaders on backlog management, team performance, and the delivery of business value. * Ensure the identification and removal of impediments using a network of peer relationships and formal channels; effectively escalate when necessary and proactively reduce team distractions and outside interruptions. * Promote continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle, leveraging metrics to identify and drive intentional change; assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency across the organization. * Identify and visualize dependencies impacting planned work; apply a servant leader mindset to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners toward shared goals and objectives. **Role Essentials** ------------------- *You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:** Experience as an Agile practitioner with a first\-level Scrum Master certification **(PSM I or CSM)** and a strong understanding of agile principles, techniques, and software development methodologies. * Strong critical thinking, problem\-solving, conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness. * Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies. * Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners; proven competence in team facilitation with the ability to apply a servant leader mindset — open\-minded, empathetic, and effective without formal authority. * Strong collaborative skills applied successfully within a team and across other areas; sharp, fast learner with intrinsic curiosity, strong business and technology acumen, and the ability to teach and apply methodology concepts in a context\-sensitive manner. **What We'd Like to See** ------------------------- *These will help you stand out:** Experience guiding teams through self\-organization, backlog management, and value delivery in a cross\-functional or matrixed organizational environment. * Demonstrated ability to identify, visualize, and manage dependencies impacting planned work, with experience effectively escalating impediments through both formal and informal channels. * Experience leveraging metrics to promote continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle and drive intentional, measurable change across teams. * Experience planning and facilitating continuous learning events, team retrospectives, and improvement workshops with diverse stakeholder groups at varying levels of agile maturity. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the role. **About Hyland** ---------------- Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation. © Hyland.
