TestFly is looking for a **Technical Test Lead** to provide technical leadership to a small team of automation and testing professionals working on an international **AAA game development** project. This position combines **technical leadership with hands\-on automation work** . We are looking for someone who can not only lead and mentor technical professionals, but also has solid hands\-on experience with programming, test automation, frameworks, and CI/CD. The successful candidate will be one of the project's key technical automation resources, working directly with the client's engineering and QA teams. **Location:** Morumbi – São Paulo, Brazil **Work model:** On\-site or hybrid **English:** Advanced – mandatory, with daily interaction with international clients and teams Key Responsibilities * Provide technical leadership to a small team of Technical Test Analysts and Automation Engineers; * Define and implement automation strategies aligned with project requirements; * Mentor and support the technical development of team members; * Conduct code reviews and establish automation best practices; * Develop, review, and maintain automated tests for gameplay, backend systems, APIs, interfaces, and platforms; * Maintain and expand automation frameworks; * Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability; * Support and monitor automated test execution in CI/CD environments; * Identify and resolve unstable or *flaky* tests; * Lead investigations into complex bugs and technical issues; * Work with logs, telemetry, performance data, and debugging tools; * Collaborate directly with developers, QA Leads, producers, and other stakeholders; * Act as one of TestFly's and the client's key technical references for test automation. Requirements * At least **4 years of professional experience** in software testing, Quality Engineering, or Game QA; * At least **2 years of hands\-on experience developing automated tests** ; * At least **1 year of experience in technical leadership, leading automation initiatives, or mentoring technical QA professionals** ; * Hands\-on programming experience in at least one language, such as **Python, C\#, Java, Lua, Bash, or PowerShell** ; * Experience developing, maintaining, and expanding automation frameworks; * Experience with tools such as **Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Playwright, or equivalent technologies** ; * Experience with CI/CD environments such as **Jenkins, TeamCity, Horde, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms** ; * Strong knowledge of test automation, testing methodologies, defect management, and Quality Engineering; * Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical problem\-solving skills; * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internationally distributed teams; * **Advanced English** , with the ability to lead technical discussions and interact daily with international clients and teams.
