The Senior Next.js Developer will be responsible for front\-end web development. They will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business outcomes. **Qualifications:** * 5\+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years using Next.js. * Solid experience working from a fully remote position. * Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3\. * Relevant experience with using Tailwind/Material Ul/Joy UI * Familiarity with RESTful APls and modern authorization mechanisms. * Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). * Familiarity with modern front\-end build pipelines and tools. * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. **Responsibilities:** * Develop new user\-facing features * Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. * Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. * Collaborate with back\-end developers and web designers to improve usability. * Write robust, clean, and documented code. * Maintain and enhance existing web applications. * Conduct performance tests and ensure responsiveness and stability across all platforms. **Industry:** * Software Development **Core values for Makai employees** * Have a strong work ethic.
