**Summary** ----------- **Esta vaga também é inclusiva para PCDs.** The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting function, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and DHL Group accounting policies, while delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting. This role serves as the accounting subject matter expert, partnering closely with Operational Accounting, FP\&A, Treasury, Tax, Controllers, Compliance, Shared Services (HUB and Accenture), and Business Leaders to support decision\-making, maintain a robust control environment, and drive continuous process improvement. The position combines technical accounting expertise, people leadership, governance, and transformation capabilities to ensure the integrity of financial statements and the effectiveness of accounting operations. **Qualifications** ------------------ * + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting + Active CRC registration + Accounting and financial reporting experience, including team leadership responsibilities. + Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards (CPCs), and financial reporting requirements. + Experience managing month\-end close, consolidation, statutory reporting, and audit processes. + Strong understanding of internal controls and corporate governance frameworks. + Advanced English proficiency + Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * **Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)** + Big Four public accounting experience. + Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP. + Experience supporting shared service organizations and complex corporate structures. + Experience with multi\-entity and multi\-system consolidations. + Knowledge of IFRS 16 and ESG reporting requirements. + Spanish proficiency + Track record leading accounting transformation, automation, or finance modernization initiatives. **Technical Competencies** + IFRS \& Technical Accounting + Financial Reporting \& Consolidation + Statutory Reporting + Internal Controls \& Compliance + Audit Management + Balance Sheet Governance + Risk Assessment + ERP Systems \& Digital Finance **Key Responsabilities** ------------------------ * Ensure compliance with local accounting standards (CPCs), IFRS, and DHL Group Accounting Policies. * Research, document, and conclude technical accounting treatments for complex transactions, including acquisitions, restructurings, leases, and other significant business events. * Prepare and maintain accounting position papers and technical memorandums. * Evaluate accounting impacts of strategic investments, new business models, and special projects. * Maintain compliance with statutory reporting obligations, including financial statements, ECD, Central Bank reporting, and other regulatory requirements. * Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring adherence to established timelines. * Review and validate consolidated financial reporting packages, including detailed explanations for key balance sheet and P\&L variances. * Oversee IFRS 16 accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and proper explanation of impacts and fluctuations. * Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and elimination processes across entities. * Review accounting provisions and challenge underlying assumptions where appropriate. * Support Group consolidation processes and ensure consistency in reporting practices across business units. * Act as the guardian of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, quality, and timely review of all key accounts. * Oversee reconciliation processes for balance sheet and selected profit and loss accounts, including revenue\-related accounts. * Execute and maintain financial close controls in accordance with internal control requirements. * Partner with Compliance and internal stakeholders to continuously strengthen the organization's control framework. * Monitor accounting treatment and reporting of legal, tax, labor, and civil contingencies in coordination with Legal and Tax departments. * Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits (Deloitte). * Ensure readiness and availability of supporting documentation required by auditors. * Build and maintain effective relationships with Shared Service Centers, Corporate Accounting, Regional Finance teams, and external advisors. * Support regulatory and statutory reviews as required. * Partner with Operational Accounting teams to ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness of accounting records across all operations. * Drive proactive discussions regarding significant transactions and emerging accounting matters. * Collaborate closely with Treasury, FP\&A, Controllers, Tax, and Business Finance teams to provide meaningful financial insights and analysis. * Support the CFO, Financial Controller, Business Controllers, and FP\&A teams on balance sheet governance, accounting policies, and reporting matters. * Lead, coach, and develop a high\-performing accoun
