To learn more about how we can supercharge progress for you, visit www.hcltech.com **Role Purpose** Lead the design, development and delivery of Angular solutions, owning technical quality for the team: translating requirements into robust designs, guiding engineers' day to day, and ensuring predictable, secure and maintainable delivery into production. **Key Responsibilities:** **Technical Design \& Delivery** • Own detailed design for Angular components, interfaces and enhancements within the agreed architecture. • Break down requirements into technical tasks, estimates, sequencing and clear acceptance criteria. • Deliver hands\-on development for complex or high\-risk components alongside the team. • Ensure designs meet performance, security, reliability and maintainability expectations. **Team Leadership** • Guide a team of developers on design decisions, coding standards and technical approach. • Run code reviews, design walkthroughs, defect triage and technical knowledge sharing. • Mentor engineers, support onboarding and build depth across the Angular skill set. **Quality \& Operations** • Define and enforce unit, integration and regression testing expectations for the team. • Own build, release and deployment readiness including rollback and verification steps. • Drive defect prevention, root\-cause analysis and permanent fixes over workarounds. **Collaboration \& Governance** • Work with architects, business analysts, QA, DevOps and support teams across the delivery lifecycle. • Participate in agile ceremonies, planning, estimation and dependency management. • Maintain technical documentation, standards and reusable assets for the team. **Technology Focus — Angular** • Build responsive, accessible Angular applications aligned to enterprise UI standards and design systems. • Optimize application performance through lazy loading, change detection tuning and bundle management. • Establish reusable component patterns, shared libraries and consistent front\-end engineering practices. **Required Technical Competencies:** • **Core Skills:** Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture, forms, routing, state management and change detection. • **Design \& Architecture** : Front\-end application architecture, modular design, reusable component libraries, design systems, accessibility. • **Data \& Integration:** REST/GraphQL integration, API contracts, caching, error handling, pagination and client\-side data modelling. • **Platform \& DevOps** : Node/npm tooling, build optimization, CI/CD for front\-end, containerized hosting and CDN delivery. • **Quality \& Operations** : Unit and end\-to\-end testing, linting, bundle/performance budgets, cross\-browser and accessibility validation. **Experience \& Qualifications** • Hands\-on experience in software engineering with strong Angular expertise. • Demonstrated experience leading small to mid\-sized technical teams through full delivery cycles. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience. • Relevant platform or cloud certifications advantageous, not mandatory. **Why choose us?** We are one of the largest and fastest growing technology companies in the world, with offices in over 60 countries and 224,000 employees Our company is extremely diverse with 165 nationalities represented We offer the opportunity to work with colleagues from all over the world We offer a virtual\-first work environment, promoting a good integration between your work and personal life, with real flexibility We are committed to your growth, offering learning and career development opportunities at all levels to help you find your unique brilliance. **Equality \& Opportunity for All** Representing 165 nationalities worldwide, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, disability or genetic information, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state and/or local laws
