If you're driven by curiosity and passionate about shaping the future of connectivity, SES offers an ideal environment to launch and grow your career. **Position Overview** The Product Systems \& Digital Solutions Intern will support a strategic program that is creating a consistent digital representation of SES products, services, and enabling resources. The intern will help convert structured business and technical information into practical, interactive tools that allow teams to explore relationships, test scenarios, validate data, and communicate complex portfolio information more clearly. This 12\-month internship is designed for a hands\-on builder who enjoys combining software development, data work, and product thinking. Working closely with Digital Architects, Product teams, Engineering, and other stakeholders, the intern will contribute to both user\-facing prototypes and the supporting data and backend activities required to make them reliable and useful. **Key Responsibilities** Digital Tool Development \& Rapid Prototyping Build and improve interactive web\-based tools that make complex product, service, and resource information easy to navigate, visualize, and explore. Translate business concepts, workflow needs, and user feedback into working prototypes and incremental product enhancements. Use modern coding practices and, where available, AI\-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping while maintaining code quality, security awareness, and traceability. Create clear demonstrations that help stakeholders understand tool capabilities and provide actionable feedback. *Data, Integration \& Backend Support* Help gather, organize, cleanse, normalize, and validate structured information received from Product, Engineering, Operations, and architecture stakeholders. Develop or support data ingestion and transformation routines for sources such as Excel, CSV, JSON, APIs, and structured repositories. Assist with backend logic, lightweight services, data models, and interfaces that connect curated source information to user\-facing experiences. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and broken relationships, and work with subject\-matter experts to resolve them. Maintain clear lineage between source data, transformation rules, application outputs, and approved changes. *Architecture \& Cross\-Functional Collaboration* Work closely with two Digital Architects and collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, IT, and other business stakeholders. Participate in working sessions to understand domain concepts, user journeys, data relationships, and technical constraints. Convert architecture guidance and stakeholder requirements into implementable features, data structures, test cases, and documentation. Communicate progress, blockers, technical trade\-offs, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non\-technical audiences. *Quality, Testing \& Documentation* Create repeatable tests for data transformations, application behavior, and key user workflows. Support usability testing, defect triage, regression checks, and validation of outputs with business and technical stakeholders. Use version control and maintain readable code, setup instructions, decision logs, and solution documentation. Contribute to a sustainable handover by documenting how components work, how data is updated, and how future contributors can extend the solution. *Program Support* Help maintain backlogs, action items, dependencies, risks, and milestones for the digital workstream. Prepare concise demonstrations, status updates, diagrams, and supporting materials for stakeholder reviews. Contribute ideas that simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve the quality and usability of program data. **Qualifications** **Required** Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. Hands\-on coding experience demonstrated through academic projects, internships, personal projects, hackathons, or an online code portfolio.
