Klaviyo Account Manager/Retention Strategist

**Please DO NOT apply if you don't have experience as an email account manager for ecommerce brands.** Retention Strategist/Account Manager, Laya Consulting \- Own a portfolio of ecom brands doing $1M to $50M/year \- Work directly with me, a designer, and a Klaviyo tech \- Write copy, plan calendars, outline flows, run strategy \- You'll shadow me on accounts at first so you learn how I think You're a fit if: \- You know "30% from Klaviyo" is a useless number without context \- You can read a cohort report and actually pull a hypothesis out of it \- You have solid DR copy fundamentals \- You message the client before they ask for an update \- You use AI daily (correctly) Not a fit if: \- You think 50% open rates \= winning \- You wait for someone to tell you what to do \- You take 6 hours to reply on Slack \- You've never opened a cohort analysis in your life What you'll actually do: \- Monthly calendars (segmentation, angles, timing) \- Flow architecture and copy \- Campaign copy \- QA everything before it hits the client \- Run weekly syncs with insights, not just "here's what we sent" \- Pitch tests, build hypotheses, push the account forward to improve ACTUAL retention metrics What you need: \- Real Klaviyo experience on ecom brands (not theoretical) \- You've moved real revenue and can talk about why \- You get LTV, repurchase rate, contribution margin, AOV \- Great written \+ spoken English \- Timezone overlap with EST/CST during business hours Bonus: Recharge, Postscript, Triple Whale, Lifetimely, etc. How we work: Notion, Slack, Figma.
