Vocational Specialist

**Role Description** The Vocational Specialist is a full\-time, on\-site role based in Salvador, BA, responsible for guiding individuals through vocational development and employment readiness. The role includes assessing participants’ strengths and needs, creating individualized vocational plans, and delivering job coaching to help them build workplace skills and confidence. The Vocational Specialist collaborates with rehabilitation and counseling professionals, employers, and community agencies to identify suitable job placements and ongoing supports. Daily tasks involve facilitating vocational education activities, preparing participants for interviews and workplace expectations, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position requires active engagement with participants on\-site, regular communication with stakeholders, and a focus on helping individuals achieve and sustain meaningful employment. **Qualifications** * Demonstrated skills in Job Coaching and Vocational Education to support individuals in career exploration, job readiness, and skill development. * Experience in Vocational Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Counseling to address barriers to employment and provide tailored support plans. * Strong Communication skills for working with participants, employers, and interdisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and reporting. * Relevant education in psychology, social work, counseling, education, human resources, or a related field. * Experience in workforce development, employment services, or social assistance programs is highly beneficial. * Ability to work on\-site in Salvador, BA, manage multiple cases, and adapt support strategies to diverse needs. * Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a commitment to inclusive, non\-discriminatory practices.
