You'll own meaningful features end to end — designing, building, and shipping production\-ready services and internal web apps — while partnering with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape systems that are reliable, secure, and easy to extend. Mandatory Skills: Java/Kotlin, Ruby and React What You'll Do Ship backend services and internal tooling across our stack: JVM (Java, Kotlin), Elixir, Ruby, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB. Influence architecture and technical standards for the systems you own. Review PRs, pair with teammates, and use metrics and incidents to improve reliability over time. What You'll Need 3\+ years of software engineering experience building production\-ready web apps and backend systems. Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Elixir, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar; readiness to work on JVM services when needed. Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, TypeScript, event\-driven architectures (Kafka), and GraphQL. Experience influencing technical direction, not just executing tasks. Nice to Have JVM/React production experience, LLM or AI API integration, eCommerce/marketplace microservices, monitoring/incident response, Python alongside JVM systems, or a CS degree.
