As our South American footprint expands rapidly, we are looking for a highly capable **Event Workforce \& Direct Sales Manager LATAM** to join our team in Rio de Janeiro. **YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Planning \& Workforce Strategy:** * Lead workforce planning for all events across South America, including forecasting, budgeting, and contingency planning. * Develop and implement local recruitment strategies to support scaling event delivery. * Build and develop the volunteer programme, including recruitment, engagement, retention, reward and recognition. * Develop partnerships with gyms, universities, sports clubs and local fitness communities to create a sustainable volunteer recruitment pipeline. * Recruit, onboard, and schedule HYROX Event Team members (Head Judges, Judges, Event Services) using the HYROX Volunteer Management System (VMS). * Responsible for regional administration of the VMS ensuring event opportunities, roles, schedules, communications and workforce records remain accurate and up to date. * Work with staffing agencies where required to ensure appropriate workforce coverage aligned with HYROX standards. * Build and maintain Judge and Head Judge pipelines, supporting talent development, training and progression to ensure consistently high judging standards. * Recruit, develop and maintain a reliable freelance workforce structure, including the onsite team responsible for Event Workforce delivery. * Ensure all workforce planning aligns with global Event Workforce standards and frameworks. * Ensure compliance with HYROX governance, including Terms \& Conditions, Code of Conduct, and safeguarding policies. **Onsite Delivery Oversight:** * Responsible for ensuring the agreed workforce plan is delivered, including handover to onsite freelance event Workforce team. **Post\-Event Reporting \& Continuous Improvement:** * Conduct post\-event evaluations and produce structured reports. * Track key workforce metrics (attendance, retention, performance, recruitment effectiveness). * Monitor and report on workforce budgets. * Identify opportunities to improve recruitment, retention, and operational delivery. * Responsible for reconciling attendance, updating records and confirming reward eligibility after each event. **Collaboration \& Market Development:** * Work closely with Event Producers, Sporting, and Operations teams to align workforce planning with event delivery. * Collaborate with internal teams to support recruitment, engagement, and workforce communications. * Support the development of scalable workforce models as the South America market grows. * Uphold HYROX brand standards across all workforce touchpoints. **Direct Sales:** **Pre Event:** * Take over as the main point of contact with PUMA in regards to local product orders for events in South America. * Liaise with PUMA and HYROX HQ in regards to the product selection/ quantities required for each event/ market. * Ensure timely ordering and delivery of all products. * Maintain inventory control of products and forecasting of future requirements. * Prepare all products before each event. * Prepare POS and inventory systems ahead of each event. * Prepare shop layout ahead of each event. * Recruit and plan staffing for the merchandise area (including set up, live event and breakdown). **Event** * Responsible for overseeing the set up and breakdown of the merchandise area, including both the products and the fixtures. * Responsible for the set up of the POS and inventory systems. * Management of the store operations, including the management of the staff working in the store and the on\-site inventories. **Post Event:** * Produce sales reports, consistent with the global format. * Operational review/ report in regards to the overall operation of direct sales at the event and identification of areas of improvement. **Miscellaneous:** * Where necessary, have a flexible mindset to pick up relevant tasks to support the overall. Tasks and responsibilities might change as the business grows and adapt to participant, sponsor and gym requirements. **YOUR PROFILE** * **Experience:** 4\+ years' experience working in events (specifically in the workforce or direct sales areas preferred). * **Skills:** Exceptional time management, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work calmly under pressure.
