Senior Java \& Apache Trino \& SQL Engineer at BairesDev As a Senior Java \& Apache Trino \& SQL Engineer, you will design and optimize distributed SQL query engines and high\-performance backend architectures. You will serve as a key contributor to our large\-scale data processing infrastructure, ensuring rapid, reliable, and scalable access to enterprise data across diverse sources. **What You'll Do** * Develop and optimize distributed query workloads to minimize latency and manage large\-scale datasets. * Build robust and highly scalable backend architectures using advanced Java frameworks. * Implement containerization and continuous integration pipelines to streamline cloud\-native deployments. * Collaborate with engineering teams to design automated testing strategies that guarantee system reliability. * Tune JVM performance and optimize memory management for distributed database systems. **What We Are Looking For** * 5\+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field. * Proven expertise with Apache Trino and SQL. * Strong hands\-on experience in advanced Java development and distributed systems or backend architecture. * Solid understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud\-native development. * Advanced proficiency in English.
