This will significantly increase your chances of success #### **About the Opportunity** We are looking for a **Senior Java Developer / Technical Analyst** to support the evolution of a financial data management platform. The role combines backend development with technical and business analysis, focusing on data quality, system integration, and scalable solutions. #### **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and enhance backend services, APIs, and data\-processing capabilities; * Analyse technical and business requirements; * Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability; * Integrate the platform with external data providers; * Design scalable solutions using microservices and cloud\-native principles; * Apply CI/CD, unit testing, and software engineering best practices; * Collaborate with business users and multidisciplinary technical teams. #### **Mandatory Requirements** * At least 7 years of professional software development experience; * Strong experience with Java and Spring; * Knowledge of Java 21; * Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL skills; * Experience developing APIs and microservices; * Experience with CI/CD and unit testing; * Hands\-on knowledge of Docker; * Experience with cloud platforms; * Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions; * Fluent English and availability for hybrid work in Porto. #### **Nice to Have** * Experience with financial data platforms; * Knowledge of data quality and external data integrations; * Basic or intermediate French. #### **Ideal Candidate Profile** The ideal candidate combines strong Java backend expertise with analytical and business\-oriented thinking.
