**An Amazing Career Opportunity for a Payroll Specialist, LAM!!** **Location:** Sao Paulo, Brazil **Job ID:** 50555 As the local payroll expert, you will oversee end\-to\-end payroll operations, partnering closely with ADP, external accounting providers, Finance, Accounting, HR, and U.S. payroll teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services. Beyond payroll processing, you'll serve as a trusted advisor on payroll, tax, labor, and union\-related matters, helping employees and stakeholders navigate complex requirements with confidence. We are a high\-tech software company headquartered in Austin, TX, with over 4,500 worldwide employees. **As our Payroll Specialist, LAM, you’ll support HID’s success by:** * Managing the payroll confection, monthly, for HID LAM. * Supporting all payroll related processes such as reports, accruals, taxes, and database management. * Offering local support for Brazil and Argentina employees in payroll, union and labor matters. * Supporting payroll audits, when required. * Running payroll taxes calculations according to Brazil \& Argentina requirements. * Maintaining a high\-level relationship with ADP as payroll provider and with external accounting services. * Controlling all the salaries information prepare by ADP – Key for Payroll Monthly process. * Acting as the local payroll responsible person and maintaining a strong connection with USA payroll department. * Resolving employees’ questions and account issues when related to payroll, labor laws, union requirements and taxes matters. * Maintaining a strong partnership with Finance \& Accounting team to clarify processes and determine the type of analysis and reconciliations that need to be done on a monthly basis. * Analyzing and reconciling payroll accounts monthly, partnering with Finance to support accurate financial reporting and payroll compliance. * Building and maintaining partnerships with parent company payroll teams in Latin American countries where employees are hosted, including but not limited to Colombia and Mexico. * Performing all other tasks as directed by Management. **Your Experience and Background include:** * A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and 3\-5 years of payroll experience, or equivalent combination of the two. * Proficient user in ADP payroll software and platforms. * Experience with Oracle ERP or similar. * Strong knowledge in labor and union matters. * Strong knowledge of payroll accounting and accruals. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to write and speak in English. * Proficient written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient math skills. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to take ownership of multiple tasks, while working with deadlines. * Ability to work independently, resolve issues proactively, and escalate matters to management appropriately when needed. * Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross functional teams and external vendors. * Ability to work with regional supervision. * Ability to work in a collaborative space. * Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. with advanced Excel skills strongly desired. * Advanced accounting degree is preferred. * Written and Verbal Spanish language skills strongly desired. * Regional payroll certifications strongly desired. **What we can offer you:** * Competitive salary and rewards package * Competitive benefits and annual leave offering, allowing for work\-life balance * A vibrant, welcoming \& inclusive culture * Extensive career development opportunities and resources to maximize your potential * To be a part of a global organization that is pioneering the hardware, software and services that allow people to confidently navigate the physical and digital worlds **Why apply?** * **Empowerment:** You’ll work as part of a global team in a flexible work environment, learning and enhancing your expertise.
