Our team develops innovative apps for Allstate Investments. Developers on the team are experienced in are now designing new future functionality using the ReactJS framework. We work in a DevOps environment which includes systems administration\-style work (such as scripting deploys and setting up CI/CD pipelines). The team is responsible for building web apps, agentic solutions, APIs, and component services that enhance our customers’ ability to make data\-driven investments decisions. * **The Role** The User Experience Designer is responsible for applying user\-centered design methods to frame and deliver experiences. * Evaluate and develop system\-level design components that create a unified user experience across the Allstate Investments digital ecosystem, providing solutions that improve experiences and not just a solitary feature. * Initiate, lead and facilitate design discussions, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions. * Partner with product managers and developers to create, modify and deliver system\-level designs that scale across a variety of audiences, abilities, devices, and platforms. * Closely collaborate with the stakeholders and the development team to understand business, technical and user requirements to define, design, ship and iterate products. * Communicate designs, verbally and visually, to stakeholders and other team members. * Productively address and manage any feedback. * Provide clear documentation for your designs and work through the implementation process, reviewing and ensuring designs are accurately executed. * Ability to manage expectations with senior leaders and project stakeholders to help shape, define and manage ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle. * Able to create rapid iterations of design prototypes and validate them for usefulness and usability with users. * Help product managers assess and prioritize features, technical constraints, and timelines. * Provide hands\-on front\-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.) support when needed. * Become a subject matter expert on key applications translating business requests into design stories for the development team. **Job Qualifications** We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Investments technology team.
