Learn more: www.riverglobal.net **Position Overview** --------------------- River Global is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic **Intern** to support projects related to the pet food and animal care industry in Brazil. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing studies in **Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Zootechnology, Animal Nutrition, Biology, or related fields** who are interested in gaining practical experience in industry engagement, events, research, and stakeholder relations. The intern will support initiatives related to the pet food sector, including trade shows, conferences, educational programs, and industry events. The role requires a proactive individual who enjoys interacting with people, communicating information about animal health and nutrition, and supporting event operations in a professional environment. This is a **hybrid internship**, combining remote work with in\-person participation at meetings, industry events, trade shows, and other activities in São Paulo as needed. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Support the planning, coordination, and execution of industry events, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions. * Represent projects and initiatives at event booths and industry gatherings. * Welcome attendees and provide general information related to pet nutrition, animal welfare, and industry initiatives. * Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, research summaries, and event materials. * Conduct research on pet food industry trends, animal nutrition, animal health, and regulatory developments. * Support networking and relationship\-building activities with industry stakeholders and partners. * Assist with event logistics, setup, and on\-site coordination. * Provide operational and administrative support for ongoing projects and initiatives. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in **Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Zootechnology, Animal Nutrition, Biology, Agribusiness, or a related field**. * Strong interest in the pet food, animal health, animal welfare, or companion animal industries. * Previous experience supporting events, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, or educational programs is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Comfortable interacting with event attendees, industry professionals, and stakeholders. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Professional proficiency in English is a plus. * Availability to attend in\-person events and meetings in São Paulo as required. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Hands\-on experience in the pet food and animal care industry. * Exposure to international projects and industry initiatives. * Opportunities to participate in conferences, trade shows, and professional networking events. * Professional development and mentorship from experienced professionals. * Experience working in a dynamic international business environment. * Valuable exposure to industry research, stakeholder engagement, and event management. **Job Type** ------------ Internship (Hybrid) **Location** ------------ **São Paulo, Brazil** **Experience Level** -------------------- **Intern / Entry Level**
