Senior C\+\+ \& Impala Engineer at BairesDev As a Senior C\+\+ \& Impala Engineer, you will drive the performance optimization of our distributed query engines. You will lead benchmarking initiatives at scale and collaborate with cross\-functional teams to eliminate system bottlenecks. **What You'll Do** * Architect and implement high\-performance engine components using C\+\+ to support massive data workloads. * Design and execute comprehensive benchmarking strategies to measure and analyze distributed systems performance. * Investigate, profile, and resolve complex bottlenecks related to memory, networking, CPU, and I/O. * Drive cross\-team optimization initiatives to enhance query execution speed and reliability. * Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for systems\-level development and query engine design. **What We Are Looking For** * 5\+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Performance, or a related role. * Proven expertise in C/C\+\+ programming and performance tuning. * Deep understanding of Impala or other distributed query engines. * Strong knowledge of CPU architecture and systems\-level optimization including memory, networking, and I/O. * Experience defining benchmarking strategies at scale and leading cross\-team optimization efforts. * Advanced proficiency in English.
