Location * + Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil Stage Experienced Level Time Full time Type Employee Place On Site **Job Description** ***Key Activities:*** * Perform geotechnical drilling operations (rotary/wash or mixed methods); * *Conduct in situ testing, including permeability and water pressure (Lugeon) tests;* * *Install geotechnical instrumentation (INA, Casagrande and vibrating wire piezometers, inclinometers);* * *Collect undisturbed samples (Denison and Shelby samplers);* * *Properly store samples in core boxes;* * *Complete drilling logs (hard copy and/or digital).* ***Requirements:*** * High School diploma (technical education is a plus); * *Minimum of 5 years of experience in the role;* * *Experience operating the following drilling rigs: Boart Longyear DB 520/525 and XL6; Sondeq SSH 10;* * *Experience with geotechnical investigations in tailings dams, waste dumps, pits, and natural ground (soil and rock);* * *Knowledge of field testing procedures in accordance with ABGE and NBR standards;* * *Valid driver’s license (Category B) with at least 1 year of experience;* * *Basic knowledge of MS Office.* **Principais Atividades:** * Executar sondagem geotécnica (mista); * Realizar ensaios in situ, incluindo ensaios de permeabilidade e perda d’água sob pressão; * Instalar instrumentação geotécnica (INA, piezômetro Casagrande e elétrico, inclinômetro); * Realizar coleta de amostras indeformadas (amostradores Denison e Shelby); * Acondicionar amostras em caixas de testemunho; * Preencher boletins de sondagem (físico e/ou digital). **Requisitos:** * Ensino Médio completo (curso técnico será um diferencial); * Ter experiência mínima de 5 anos na função; * Ter experiência na operação das seguintes sondas: Boart Longyear DB 520/525 e XL6; Sondeq SSH 10; * Ter experiência com sondagem geotécnica em pilhas de estéril, cavas, barragens e terrenos naturais (solo e rocha); * Conhecer os procedimentos de ensaios de campo conforme normas vigentes da ABGE e NBR; * Possuir CNH categoria B válida, com no mínimo 1 ano de experiência; * Ter conhecimento em Pacote Office.
